The ASEPUC Analysis and Financial Accounting Network in collaboration with PRICIT-Universidad Autónoma de Madrid organizes a Research Training Programme which includes the two following activities:
1) PRICIT DOCTORAL WORKSHOP
The PRICIT Doctoral Workshop provides a platform for doctoral students to present their research on accounting topics including (but not limited to) financial accounting, auditing, corporate governance, accounting history, environmental accounting, or management accounting. The Workshop offers doctoral students an opportunity to present, discuss, receive feedback and exchange comments and views in an inspiring academic community of fellow Spanish Ph.D. students and experienced researchers. This is also an opportunity to build academic relationships. This first edition will go VIRTUAL.

Seminar 1. Practical Guidance on Using and Interpreting Fixed Effects Models
APRIL 27, 4PM to 5.15PM
Ed deHaan. Professor at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. He was previously at Stanford University and University of California, Santa Cruz. Prof. deHaan has published extensively, being currently the editor of several leading Journals. His recent research interests are on information acquisition costs, robo-advisers, and the processing of news information. His papers have won numerous awards.
Seminar 2. Measurement Error and Bias in Causal Models in Accounting Research

Daniel Taylor. Professor at The Wharton School, Dr. Taylor is an award-winning researcher and teacher with extensive expertise on issues related to corporate disclosures, accounting fraud, insider trading, and corporate governance. Professor Taylor has written extensively on these topics in leading academic journals; led seminars at dozens of top business schools across the globe; and won numerous academic and industry awards.
